duties and responsibilities:Trauma nursing involves responding quickly to a wide variety of single- and multisystem trauma involving different patient needs, ages, cultures, and severity of presenting symptoms. The trauma nurse must respond with decisiveness and clarity to unexpected events by assessing, intervening, and stabilizing patients about whom there is minimal information.
Salary:According to some experts, the average trauma nurse salary lies within the $60,000 to $70,000 per year range. The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that the median annual salary for these registered nurses was $64,690 in 2010. Duties and responsibilities:Cardiologists are physicians who have received additional training to prevent, diagnose and treat conditions of the cardiovascular system, which includes the heart and the body's blood vessels. Before practicing as a cardiologist, physicians must graduate from medical school, complete a residency and become board-certified in internal medicine, and then complete a fellowship in cardiology. Cardiology residencies typically last three years, and fellowships are a minimum of three years, making at least six years of training beyond medical school. The roles and responsibilities of a cardiologist can vary, but certain generalities are possible.
Salary:In the United States, the median cardiologist salary is reported to be $375,000 per year. The figure for the lowest 10th percentile is $251,000 per year and for the highest 10th percentile, the figure is reported to be $550,000. The middle 50% earns from $310,000 to $466,000. The above figures are for invasive cardiologists.For non-invasive cardiologist, the median annual salary is reported to be $346,000. The lowest 10th percentile earns about $221,000 and the highest 10th percentile earns about $484,000 per year.
Education:First, an aspiring cardiologist must have a bachelor's degree in order to get into medical school. The most logical pre-med bachelor degrees include courses in chemistry, mathematics, engineering or psychology. Then one must gain a passing score on the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test).
The four years in medical school covers standard medical terminology, medical judgment and clinical standard procedures. Potential cardiologists who complete the ten years of educational preparation must then pass an exam administered by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Auricular acupuncturists use different sized needles to stimulate pressure points in the body, with the goal of alleviating pain and general discomfort. Duties and Responsibilities:The athletic trainer will practice said profession within the parameters of the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Licensing Law as laid out by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners, and will follow both the Standards of

Duties and Responsibilities:Anesthesiologists are the physicians trained to administer and manage anesthesia given during a surgical procedure. They are also responsible for managing and treating changes in your critical life functions - breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure - as they are affected by the surgery being performed. Further, they immediately diagnose and treat any medical problems that might arise during and immediately after surgery.
Salary:In the United States, you should expect a salary of about $250,000 to $425,000 with the median being about $343,000. And this amount is without bonuses. With bonuses, you should expect your income to be much higher than the above. With bonuses, the median goes up to about $363,000. There are many other attractive benefits to this job.
Education:Even before entering college, those interested in a career in anesthesiology need to think about the kinds of classes taken in high school. Classes with a math and science concentration certainly go a long way in preparing a future anesthesiologist for success in college and medical school.As with other physician specialties, all future anesthesiologists need to attend a four-year undergraduate program and most will enroll in a pre-medicine or another science-concentrated program, though it is not required.Following graduation, prospective anesthesiologists are required to attend four years of medical school where they generally spend the first two years building on basic sciences and the second two in clinical training.
