Duties and responsibilities:An environmental specialist protects the environment by determining problems and finding solutions used to eliminate hazards that can affect the overall health of the environment or population.

Salary:$38,980 to above $112,990

Education: Require a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in environmental science which is preferred by most employers. A PhD. is typically necessary only for teaching and research jobs at colleges.
